Prediction of head and neck cancer with influence of celestial bodies - A case study

Medical astrology (traditionally acknowledged as iatromathematics) is an original medical system that connects with different parts of the body, illnesses, and medicines as under the effect of the stars (Nakshetra) and planets that may give the results according to his Karma (work) already done in the pre- birth and the present movement. Each of the astrological results influenced by the location of the stars and planets is linked with illnesses including malignancy of divergent parts of the human body. This study has tried to show the liaison of medical and astrological science to justify how the planets are responsible cause for the head & neck cancer in human being. It has also displayed the correlation between the medical astrology with head & neck cancer disease. The random sampling of the cancer individuals diagnosed histopathologically was selected for the study purpose. By taking informed consent, total twenty head & neck cancer individuals were chosen for the Kundali (birth chart). The Kundali was prepared on the date and the time of birth of the cancer patients recorded by themselves and their relatives or other responsible member. The Kundali, was prepared based on the calendar issued by the Nepal Panchanga Nirnayak Committee (NPNC). The result showed the possibility of pre- diagnosis of the head & neck cancer disease from the astrological point of view. So, it seems to be superior when mixed up medical astrology in modern healthcare system to prevent and control the cancer diseases.
